Who is “me”? Who am “I”? Where is the person that I call
myself? I act like I know her but I don’t. I try to be there for everyone and
do everything and I have lost myself in the process. I will be there for
someone no matter how tired or burnt out I am, I will work myself into the dirt
if that means everyone around me will be okay. I try to make everyone happy,
which is impossible, but I try without even realizing that I am trying and
forget what makes me happy along the way. I trick myself into thinking this is
what I want but in reality, it isn’t. I push myself for everyone and end up
having mental breakdown one after the other, not even realizing that it is
because of what I am doing to myself. I forget what I deserve and how I shouldn’t
just be a door mat for people. I forget that at the end of the day I have to
live with my happiness and not everyone else’s. I make excuses for people who
treat me the way that they do because of the situations they are in but does
that mean I deserve to be treated like a door mat? It doesn’t. I do everything that
I can for others and have completely lost who I am. So, who is “me”? I love
with the biggest heart and give all I can for others but who else am I? I don’t
know, even while writing this I still do not know. I know what I am not, I am
not someone else’s door mat and I was not placed here on this earth to be one. I know God has given me a plan he wants me to
carry out and I know that plan is not pushing myself until I break. So, from
this day forward I have promised myself that I will do what makes me happy and take
what I deserve and nothing less. I will find “me” and I will be whoever “me” is.
What I have learned through all of this is that people will do only what they
want. If they want to fight for you, they will do whatever it takes to do so, if
they want to make you happy, they will do whatever it takes to make it happen
and if that person wants to leave, sadly they will no matter what. You cannot put
your happiness on someone else. You are in control of that. I will find “me”
and I will be “me”.
Hey Guys! It has been a while since I have updated my blog with my current household so here it is! This is the Atkins family. They are sisters who are complete opposites but still love each other and their differences. The oldest is Adrianna Atkins. She is dedicated to keeping the beaches of Sulani beautiful and clean.
Her aspiration was Beach Life in which she got the trait Home Turf. She also completed this aspiration and received the trait Laid-Back. Adrianna is also a Child of the Islands, Cheerful and Family Orientated. She is currently in the process of completing the Soulmate aspiration as soon as she finds that someone, lol. Allie on the other hand is completely different. Allie's aspiration is to be a Bestselling Author in which she has the Quick Learner trait. She is on the last tier of her aspiration as well. Allie is a Cat Lover, a Bookworm and Good. She also does Freelance work on the side to help out with whatever finances are not covered from her books and her sister's job.
Allie loves to garden but that is the only outdoor activity she likes to do. The rest of her free time she likes to watch scary movies and read books. Adrianna loves to be outside and on the beach. These two sisters are very different but they love each other very much. I do not have much of a story for them as I am just playing and seeing what comes along. I cannot wait to see what these two have in store for them!
I decided to have a girls day with my friend, May, to hopefully pick up some new clothes to wear. I met her a while back while exploring the city and we instantly became close.
I tried on a few outfits that I really loved.
When we were there, we ran into my brother, Alan. He said he was just in town looking for a new television set and saw us from across the street.
I thought that was sweet that he wanted to come see me, although, when I went to introduce him to May, the look in his eyes suggested he already knew her, and knew her well.
Alan and May seemed to hit it off really well, kind of like they knew each other their whole lives, so I suggested that we go and grab a bite to eat, especially because I was really hungry. We went to this cute bistro and sat outside.
While May went to the bathroom, I asked Alan what was up, "Okay, cut the act, how do you know her?" Alan was shocked and said, "I..I..I don't" I just looked at him and he sang like a canary, "I met her a few weeks ago while I was jogging in the park. She was there with her daughter and I couldn't help but introduce myself." My heart grew a million sizes. "Alan! That is so sweet!" Alan looked at me and said, "We are dating and I could not be happier." I have not seen him this happy in so long. "Well, I'm happy then."
The rest of the night went by great.
We all talked and laughed until I realized it was 12 in the morning and I had to get home to rest for work tomorrow. I couldn't help but smile as I went to sleep that night knowing my big brother was happy.

Hello! I hope everyone had an amazing and safe New Years! Ayla has faced some stuff head on this time. She had her brother, Alan, over for movie night. They laughed and ate popcorn, however, Alan had something serious he wanted to talk to Ayla about.
He asked her why she had so many boyfriends. Ayla responded with because she does not want to settle down, and although that was true, Alan could tell there was something else that was bothering her. Ayla eventually broke down and told him how she never wants to get hurt like he did. Alan looked at Ayla and said, "Well if you never even try, you won't find that special one who won't hurt you." That made Ayla see that she did not want to be playing the field forever; she wanted that special someone one day.
She decided to call it off with all those guys and just start new.
Since Ayla was still moving in, she had a couple days off from work to get settled in and explore the city. She went on many dates as you can tell from the pics below.
Although, none of the guys stuck with her. They all seemed to think the date went well, but Ayla was over it before they even said goodnight. Maybe the dating scene just isn't right for Ayla?

Hey Guys! I hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! I decided to share with you my current household that I just recently started. This is Ayla and her brother Alan. Ayla's dream is to become the best detective ever, while her brother just wants to relax and enjoy life. Ayla lives by herself in a one bedroom apartment in San Myshuno in the Arts Quarter, while her brother lives with his two friends, in the Spice Market.
Ayla is not looking to settle down anytime soon. When her brother was young, he fell in love with who he thought would be his one true love. Although 'that love' left him and broke his heart. Ayla, seeing that as a teen, decided she would never want to be hurt like that, so she decided instead to just play the field. Her aspiration is Serial Romantic, and she is currently on level 2 of that.
Her boyfriend at the moment is Christopher, although as you can tell from the pics above, it is nothing serious.
Ayla is also in the Coffee Club, in which she hopes to become the leader of because you know, why not?
