Make a sim, get married, have kids, repeat.
This is the cycle that most simmers, including myself, get stuck in and its very hard to get out of. In return this makes the game very boring. These few tips and tricks are ways that I keep my game interesting when I get stuck in this never ending cycle.

1. Randomize Traits 
Traits have a big impact on how our sims react and do things. I always used the same traits over and over again which caused my sims to be boring. When I took one of my always used traits out and put the Insane trait in or the Neurotic trait, it made a huge impact to my game. I could not stop laughing at my sim randomly acting like a dog in front of her clients or yelling at herself. It made me fall more in love with my sim and made me want to play her even longer.

2.Try a Different Career
If your constantly going into a rabbit hold career, switch it up and try playing an interactive career instead. This will definitely make your game much more interesting.

3.Try a Random Storyline
Storylines make you use your imagination and allows you to play out side of the box. It gives you the power to make your sims whoever you want and allows you to connect more with your sims.

4. Try a Challenge 
Trying to accomplish something in your game makes you want to come back and play more. This is exactly what a challenge does. It gives you something to try and accomplish, may it be a long term goal or a short one.

5. Get Out The House!
Try to do things you never would normally do. Go on a date, go to the bar or just get out and go to the park! Doing these things will make the game ten times more fun and allows you to meet different and interesting sims in the process.

6.Slow Down and Enjoy the Moment
Last but certainly not least, just slow down and enjoy whats going on around you. Stop trying to rush the time and just press speed one. The more you slow down and try to enjoy whats going on around you the more enjoyment you will get out of your game.
