Whenever The Sims 4 first came out, I was pumped. I could not wait to get home and it install it. I was so excited to check out all the new features and just play the game. Although that only lasted for a little while. I quickly got bored and could not get into playing the game. I tried everything just to get myself to enjoy the game from creating different storylines to doing challenges and nothing worked. I told myself well maybe if I add this expansion pack or this stuff pack maybe I'll enjoy it a little more, It still didn't work. I was really upset because I love The Sims and I wanted to play the new addition to The Sims franchise but I just couldn't get into it.
Eventually I figured out what the problem was. I stopped going places so I wouldn't have to hit a loading screen and I didn't wanna have kids because I missed toddlers. I felt very unconnected to my sims for some reason and I just didn't feel like how I felt when I played The Sims two or three. Not trying to compare because the are all separate games. Maybe its just coming from a game that had tons of add ons to it to one that has not had it's own add ons come out yet. I hoping eventually I will be able to get into The Sims 4 because the game really is amazing. Create-a-Sim is just perfect and the graphics are absolutely stunning, I just cannot, for some reason, get into it.
